What are some of the most important natural features in Colombia?

A: Some of the most important natural features in Colombia are:

1. The Rosario Islands: They are a group of small islands on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Just off the coast of Cartagena.

2. Tayrona National Park: A magical place where the jungle meets the sea. It offers a varied range of landscapes.

3. Piedra del penol, Guatapé: Colombians describe it as "the best view in the world. It is visited for the incredible views and in this place people usually enjoy with their family, climbing the stairs to reach the top.

Vocabulary:

Activity: Build a crossword in pairs using the vocabulary given in class.

GOAL: DESCRIBE A GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION

Activity: Draw a map of Colombia in pairs and mark down the location of 5 places, then you must describe the location of each one using the prepositional phrases of geographical place.

GOAL: WARN ABOUT A POSSIBLE RISK

Activity: Listen to the audio and answer.

Activity: Complete the sentences, usign too + an adjective and a for phrase + an infinitive

MY PRACTICE:

What are some natural places you recommend visiting in Colombia, and what are some possible risk you find there?

A: I recommend visiting Piedra del Penol, Guatapé, personally I can consider it partly risky when climbing.
I recommend visiting the Sierra de La Macarena National Park located in the Orinoco region of Colombia on the east coast. I personally don't consider it risky.
